Who is he: Known as the ‘King of the Southern Ocean’, Bannatyne is back for an eighth Volvo Ocean Race, having first competed back in almost 25 years ago. The Kiwi is one of the toughest sailors in the sport, renowned for his heavy weather sailing and has won the trophy three times, an achievement which puts him in an elite group of ocean racing obsessives.
