Something about her that you don't know: Carolijn's favourite TV show is The Big Bang Theory. She says it's very nerdy but a great show to wind down to and laugh at.
Who she is: An accomplished sailor who has competed in three Olympic Games, two Volvo Ocean Races and was named ISAF Sailor of the Year, Carolijn Brouwer returns for a third crack at the Volvo Ocean Race. Her stunning speed driving the boat in 2014-15, particularly in In-Port Races and Leg Starts, caught the eye of Charles Caudrelier and she is now eager for a real shot at the title.
