The Volvo Ocean Race has been creating legends since 1973A total of 324 sailors took part in the first edition – all of them pioneers – and since then, thousands more have shown courage, sacrifice and skill to write their names in the history of the race.
This Wall of Fame will pay tribute to the heroes of the Volvo Ocean Race. We’ve started with six names that will be familiar to fans of the race but we’ll be adding some of the less well known characters as well.
