Something about him that you don't know: Before becoming a pro sailor, Grant was a carpenter and property developer.

Who he is: A vastly experience ocean racer, Grant steps back into the Volvo Ocean Race after a decade’s absence. The Aussie has competed in almost 20 Sydney Hobart Races, and won line honours as skipper of Wild Thing in 2003. He is no stranger to the Volvo Ocean Race having completed Leg 4 on Djuice Dragons in 2001-02, and returned with Brunel in 2005-06.
