Something about him that you don't know: If he could choose to take one thing onboard, Tiger admits that would like to take his dog Siu Bo – but accepts that he'll probably have to settle for his iPod.

Who he is: As Hong Kong's only participant in the race, Tiger carries a nation's hopes on his shoulders. He has previously raced the Sydney-Hobart onboard Beau Geste and the China Sea Race with Seawolf, and comes into the race hoping to prove that he can make the step up to the next level of offshore racing. As well as racing some legs, he will serve as a backup weather analyst and navigator to Steve Hayles onshore.
