Something about her that you don't know: If she could go anywhere in the world for 48 hours, Liz says she would choose the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on her outrigger canoe.

Who she is: Liz made her name in the Hobie Cat 16 class, where she won numerous titles, and went on to became a skipper in the Sydney Hobart Race at just 19 years old. Famous for her ocean racing and boat maintenance skills, she knows the Volvo Ocean 65 better than anyone else in the world having spent thousands of hours racing and working on the One Design class. With two Volvo Ocean Races under her belt, having sailed onboard Amer Sports Too in 2001-02 and Team SCA in 2014-15, she joins Turn the Tide on Plastic looking to make a bigger splash than ever before in 2017-18.

Previous Volvo Ocean Race:
2014-15 Team SCA
2001-02 Amer Sports Too
