Dignitaries including Volnei Moratoni, the Mayor of Itajaí and Eduardo Pinho Moreira, Governor of Santa Catarina State joined Volvo Ocean Race President Richard Brisius and Race winner and Brazilian Olympic legend Torben Grael to kick off the two week stopover.
