What he does: Heads up the team that works with all the host ports to provide the stopovers and operational logistics for the race.

Who he is: Richard has a long history with the race, taking part in the last five editions - four times as a sailor and in the last edition, as the Shore Manager of the all-female Team SCA.

He speaks: English (UK), English (Kiwi), Swedish.

Something about him you don’t know: Richard trained as an environmental scientist so it is not surprising that his hobbies all centre around the sea: windsurfing and surfing. He also loves to cook for his girls.
