Harvest Straws
Straw by Straw has agreed to support the UN Environment #CleanSeas campaign.
The company, based in Amsterdam, produces straws made of actual straw material. The straws are collected after harvesting cover crops such as wheat and rye. The remaining stalks, which are hollow, are cleaned and hand cut into drinking straws. This process leads to a 100% organic, plastic free and gluten free product.
This smart alternative to plastic straws contributes to the rapidly growing, and critical problem of Ocean plastic pollution, single-use plastic straws being one of the most found items in the world's beaches and seas.
