May 29, 2018 14:54 UTC

Cape RADD has agreed to support the UN Environment #CleanSeas campaign.

The Cape RADD (Research and Diver Development), is a marine research centre based in Cape Town aiming to educate and inspire people in all aspects of marine conservation.

The organisation offers a variety of activities for Ocean lovers of all kind to participate in impactful marine research and protection. Along with beach and dive site clean up days, the organisation launched 'Citizen Science Days', where the public can join a team of field biologists to learn about marine habitat monitoring and collect field data for open source databases.

Furthermore, the centre organises scuba diving and marine science field courses for individuals who want to gain in depth knowledge of the marine environment, conservation and research, through hands on field experience and diver development.
