The first points of the Volvo Ocean Race 2017-18 will be won on Saturday as the fleet closes on the Leg 1 finishing line in Lisbon.
Vestas 11th Hour Racing appears secure now. At 0800 UTC, skipper Charlie Enright and his team had a 35 mile lead, with 40 miles to go to finish and were making nearly 11 knots.
The ETA is around 14:00 UTC for the winning boat.
Make sure you follow along on the blog for updates to the ETA. You can find it here - http://www.volvooceanrace.com/en/raceblog.html
Behind the leading boat, there is a safe margin to second placed MAPFRE and then a real fight between Dongfeng Racing and team AkzoNobel for the third podium position. There is just four miles between them.
Scallywag has a tight grip on fifth place and then another dogfight at the back with Team Brunel just edging out Turn the Tide on Plastic at the moment.
