What she does: Clare is responsible for planning and delivering Volvo Ocean Race events and the hospitality programme.

Who she is: Clare first joined the Volvo Ocean Race in January 2013 and has been managing hospitality and events for over a decade. In the 2014-15 edition of the Race, she was responsible for planning and delivering the stakeholder conferences in Newport & Alicante, the Life at the Extreme Awards Nights, arrivals ceremonies, In-Port Race prize-givings, Leg start dock-out shows, and crew parties in all of the Host Cities, finishing with the final prize-giving in Gothenburg.

She speaks: English and good (food & drink related) Spanish.

Something about her that you don't know: Fan of stand-up paddle, yoga & New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (not all at once).
