Yann Riou

In: L’Union, France, grew up in Brittany
Status: In a relationship, one daughter
Something about him that you don't know: When he is not sailing, or filming, Yann lives with his family in Alicante, Spain... Where the race HQ is! 

He speaks: French (but speaks fluent English and Danish with a bit of Spanish)

Who he is: An engineer by trade and a professional sailor turned media man, Yann already sailed with Charles Caudrelier as OBR for Groupama in the previous race. He is talented with a camera and he is greatly liked and respected by the team, both onshore and offshore.

What he said: "With Dongfeng, we are trying to bring a new country into offshore sailing, and to catch a completely new audience. This is a very special project that leaves the door open for a lot of new stories both onshore onboard. I feel both proud and exited to be in charge of telling these stories onboard Dongfeng Race Team."
