What she does: Makes the Volvo Ocean Race Museum in Alicante an exciting and fun place for everyone to learn about the race and its history. Also works on a number of projects that will connect the race with talented artists round the world.

Who she is: Born in Madrid, but her family comes from the north of Spain where people are known for having strong characters, a lot of determination and yes, big noses. She has lived and worked in Germany and England with her family and is now very happy to be an “Alicantina”.

She speaks: Spanish, English, German, French and Portuguese

Something about her that you don't know: While still in college, Laura was a state tennis champion in the USA.
